Rehabilitation Therapy

The Rehabilitation Department provides comprehensive services to return a person to their highest level of living and well-being. All of these services are available on both in inpatient and outpatient basis.

Physical Therapy provides programs to improve resident's strength, balance, and mobility in order to attain the highest level of mobility.

Speech Therapy provides programs to help residents recover from speech impairments, language difficulties, and/or swallowing disorders related to certain illnesses.

Occupational Therapy provides programs to help residents regain as much independence as possible with visual perceptual training, upper extremity strengthening, coordination, and self-help skills.


The New Standardin Senior Care

AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmills are being used by leading organizations to help seniors recover from surgery, rehabilitate after an injury, or maintain exercise in order to combat the diseases of aging. By allowing for exercise when it would otherwise be impossible, AlterG assists users in regaining mobility and maintaining health, therby allowing them to stay as independent as possible, for as long as possible. We welcome direct admission to Allen Morgan Health and Rehabilitation Center (AMHRC) on a space-available basis. When your physician, discharge planner, or social worker discusses rehabilitation therapy, please tell them that you would like to know about availability at Allen Morgan Health and Rehabilitation Center (AMHRC) on the Trezevant campus.
