History
Trezevant has been committed to enriching the quality of lives of senior adults since 1977. This dynamic senior living community was dedicated and named to honor the memory of Suzanne Trezevant Little by her husband, Edward H. Little.
Suzanne Trezevant Little was an exceptional woman. Born to a prominent Memphis family, she nursed her fiancé, Edward H. Little, through a three-year bout with tuberculosis, and anchored a lifelong marriage that propelled him to the presidency of Colgate-Palmolive for 23 years. She devoted much of her adult life to philanthropic efforts throughout the United States, focusing on schools, colleges, churches and hospitals, especially in the Memphis area. Her legacy includes Trezevant, the Mid-South's only accredited continuing care retirement community. Trezevant today continues to uphold the valued and timeless principles of its founders while changing to meet the needs of today's mature adults.
