Trezevant Foundation

Trezevant is “home” in every sense of the word to nearly 400 people living within the Trezevant campus, either independently, with assistance, or with skilled nursing care.

Since its inception over thirty years ago,Trezevant has faithfully lived out its commitment to provide lifetime security and excellent care for each resident.

The Trezevant Manor Foundation was created in 1980 and chartered as a separate not-for-profit entity to support the above Trezevant commitmentThe Foundation seeks to enhance its permanent endowment to meet two primary goals:

  1. To assist residents who are no longer able to meet the financial requirements for continued residency
  2. To enhance the quality of life of current and future residents

The Trezevant Manor Foundation also serves as a collection source for gifts designated for various purposes such as education scholarships for members of Trezevant’s staff, the library fund, the chapel fund and for non-budgeted improvements and enhancements to the Trezevant campus.  The Foundation currently funds the purchase of personal emergency pendants for all the residents on campus.

To achieve these goals, the Trezevant Manor Foundation depends upon continuing financial gifts from residents, resident families, and friends. Trezevant is a loving and closely knit community where all share a responsibility for ensuring that all residents can confidently live out their quality-of-life dream.

Ways to Give
There are several ways to make donations to the Trezevant Foundation and ensure that funds are available for those who may need assistance with their monthly fees:

  • Residents may make monthly gifts with their maintenance fees
  • Make cash gifts in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one
  • Give annually with a check made out to the Trezevant Foundation
  • Provide for Trezevant with a planned gift such as a life insurance policy, a charitable gift annuity, or with a will bequest.

E. H. Little Legacy Society
In a continuing effort to publicly recognize and honor those friends and supporters who have remembered the Trezevant Foundation through estate-related gifts, the Board of Trustees has established the E. H. Little Legacy Society.  This society is intended to encompass all those who include the Foundation in their wills or in other forms of estate planning and deferred giving.  Membership is extended to those who include the Trezevant Foundation as a beneficiary in a will or codicil , fund a life income contract such as a charitable gift annuity or any other estate planning trusts, or name the Foundation as owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy.  There is no minimum gift amount required, only that the Trezevant Foundation is designated with a planned gift.  A dinner is held annually to honor the E. H. Little Legacy Society members.
